Quick drawing of a swordman based on a *sirkrozz's design, who based his design on the Ragnarok Online's swordman design (my character). So, I don't categorize it as fan-art.

Please, comment here if you have a question about it, we are here for to help each other (of course you can comment if you don't have a question).

For example, I want to talk about something that the less advanced artists tend to forget... coloring things is not only for to do things more beautiful, it's needed for to complete things that can't be showed with the lineart. Look at 2:50-3:00 of the first video, you wouldn't be able to know the exact shape of the hair if I didn't colored it.

So... I hope this helps somehow! (Even when this isn't an advanced coloring style)

Me encanta la corporeidad que lograste con el personaje (en contraste con tu DevID, por ejemplo, que mola muchísimo, pero parece como más "chato", por decirlo de algún modo); parece realmente formar parte de las tres dimensiones que muchos buscamos y no siempre hallamos (XD)

Cuando vicheé el tutorial, me parecían muy oscuros los colores que habías escogido, pero ahora veo que es, justamente, esa oscuridad la que le da peso a la figura. Está muy bueno.

Sí, intenté darle algo más de vida con la postura, aunque cada vez me voy fijando más en que los tonos que suelo dar son muy apagados. Me he acostumbrado bastante a reducir la saturación!

Lo cierto es que tuve un problema con los tonos oscuros. Suelo bajar el brillo del color en 20 puntos para hacer las sombras. El rojo tenía 50 de brillo, así que a 30 las sombras van bien. Pero el color "negro" tiene exactamente 20 de brillo, así que las sombras han quedado prácticamente negras, el lineart no se distingue en esas zonas (aunque he intentado que se noten las formas, como en las sujecciones de las rodilleras).

Yo creo que el color y la linea son dos tipos de obra diferenciadas, que ya cuando se juntan son la ostia. Un buen color puede hacer rillar a un dibujo mediocre y al contrario, una buena linea puede salvar de la hoguera un coloreado regular. Pero al mismo tiempo una linea y un color por separado son trabajos independientes.

me gusta la expresion de la cara y el movimiento del cuerpo sencillo que le has dado, creo que le da personalidad al personaje
